Microsoft Server 2012 R2 RDS license

  • For Remote desktop we  only possible to take two user at the same time in 2012 R2 one as user and another one as administrator
  • Only with cal license  we are possible to take multiple remote session in simultaneously
  • For First install of RDS we get a free trail for 120 days to access multiple session 
After 120 days again we need to get a free trail don't need to format the server , its not possible 

For small trick to get back again 120 days with small changes in registry

  1. Windows + R to open run
  2. Type regedit
  3. find the location of            HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM\GracePeriod
  4.  Just Delete the entries in the registry , if it not possible give the full permission to access the file first
  5. don't delete the default one , Just leave it
  6. Restart the system and again made RDS install get back your free 120 days trail
